Bulgaria's population growth is not improving despite the rise of its birth rate largely due to migration, according to latest Eurostat data about the population of the EU.Bulgaria was the country with the highest death rate of all 27 EU member states in 2009 - 14.2 per 1000 inhabitants. “European money for the right place – the Bulgarian village” is the motto for the new approval of projects under the Operational Programme for Rural Development, launched yesterday by Agriculture Minister, Miroslav Naydenov. . A new state of the art integrated system for online booking and issuing of train tickets is poised to be implemented in 2010 for the Bulgarian state rail (BDZ), according to Transport Minister Alexander Tsvetkov, the mass circulation daily 24 Chassa reported. The worldwide famous harvest has begun Friday in the ‘valley of the roses’ close to Kazanlak in Central Bulgaria.
